- “Learn & Acknowledge - Disability Awareness Improvement Education”

· Outline

- This is a legally mandated education program (education for improving social awareness of disabilities) under Article 25 of the Act on Welfare of Persons with Disabilities. It was developed to improve awareness of disabilities among public officers at national and local government organizations.

· Objective

- Establish a proper understanding of disabilities and persons with disabilities

- Build an inclusive society where equal rights are guaranteed to disabled and non-disabled individuals in all levels of society

· Target

- Adults (public officers at national/regional government organizations)

· Duration

- 2 hours (consisting of 9 sessions)

* The actual duration is about 75 minutes, but the two-hour credit is granted considering the difficulty of the program, the Q&A session, etc.

· Requirements for Completion

- Completion rate of 90% or more, mandatory test (survey)
